Hey everyone! I’ve got two quick news announcements:
OrcaCON
I will be at OrcaCON this year! OrcaCON is held in Bellevue, WA from January 10 to January 12, and focuses on TTRPGs, board games, card games, miniature games, and war games. Feel free to find me at any point during the con and I’m happy to chat about my games, your games, other people’s games, game theory, or just chat about non-gaming topics (why tho?). You can sign up for the con at https://www.orcacon.org/. I will also be debuting my new game! You can come play on Saturday at 11:30 am. Which leads me to:
L’Oracle de la Révolution
L’Oracle de la Révolution gives us politicians and detectives; mobs and weddings; cults and catholics; orphans rising to lead armies or command demons; the sounds of battle in the streets of Paris; the smell of gunpowder and alcohol; the feel of a knife in your back; asking “What do you do next?”
In L’Oracle de la Révolution you play as a powerful person in Paris during the French Revolution. You and your fellows are constantly fighting for prime position within the Parisian political landscape, even as that landscape crumbles around you.
L’Oracle de la Révolution is the spiritual successor to my previous game, L’Oracle Baroque. Révolution is a game of Belonging Outside Belonging, focusing on how communities fall, what people will give up for their ambitions, and the repercussions that will bring everything crashing down.
The game is currently in pre-alpha, and I will have a playable version ready for OrcaCON in January.
